• Plan and manage the implementation of all genetic improvement programs in 78 farms (approximately 21.000 purebred animals) of North Greece. Supervise the implementation of the protection and preservation programs of three endangered breeds.
• Provide scientific consulting to Certified Associations of Purebred Farm Animals. Prepare and present seminar material to certified breeders.
• Identify problems and/or inconsistencies in animal breeding and husbandry processes. Propose targeted solutions and supervise scientific staff in order to deliver them.
• Review the implementation of Community and National Environmental and Animal Welfare Law provisions for livestock animals of high genetic merit.
• Collect, record, analyze and update data of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of endogenous breeds. Evaluate genetic merit on individual and population basis.

2002-2008 HELLENIC MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND FOOD ATHENS, GREECE
Department of Animal Production – Genetic Improvement of Sheep and Goats Unit
• Designed and managed the implementation of all genetic improvement programs of the Community Support Framework and National Programs for Greek breeders with a focus on cost efficiency and public health quality.
• Developed the genetic improvement and upgrade program for endogenous sheep and goats (approximately 550 farms and 78.000 purebred animals), during the Fourth Budgetary Period 2007-2013.
• Manage the implementation of biodiversity programs for 10 endangered endogenous breeds.
• Supervised all genetic improvement related Community regulations and programs on a national level.
• Align National rules and regulations to the Community official documents for Zootechnics issues.
