I’m an Agricultural engineer, having more than 20 years experience in the fields of Agriculture, Food industry, Quality Control/Assurance and Environment.

My professional activity begins in 1997 with my employment at the Hellenic National Agricultural Research Foundation, and my participation for approximately three continuous years at a Research Project as responsible for the operation of an experimental facility.

Between years 2000 and 2006, I followed a very creative and fruitful collaboration with the Goulandris Natural History Museum/Greek Biotope Wetland Centre (EKBY). During this period, I had the chance to coordinate, manage and participate in important environmental projects, being in close collaboration with colleagues from all over the world.

For the last 12 years I’m activated in the field of Quality Assurance Management facing it from two different points of view: from the QA Manger’s one (QA-QC Manager in the Food industry for almost 8 years) but also from the Auditor’s one (Auditing Quality Management Systems such as ISO 22000, Globalgap, BRC, IFS,
During these years, I had the unique chance to both get closer to primary agricultural production and also combine my knowledge and broaden my skills and competences (e.g. postharvest handling, sorting, packing, BRC, IFS, ISO 22000).

It is noteworthy, that during my so far professional activity, the attendance of the two Postgraduate specializations (the one honored by the Hellenic Scholarships Foundation), gave me additional valuable theoretical and practical knowledge, further enhancing and broadening my experience.

I’m currently looking for the chance of my next step. The step that will give me the pleasure of being creative while sharing my experience.
